2012-2013 ASHRM Scholarship
Active members of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) may be eligible to submit a request for scholarship with their fellowship application. ASHRM scholarships are limited to those eligible for ASHRM Fellow (FASHRM) status. The scholarship is made available by the generous support of the ASHRM Foundation.
Completion of an Action Learning Project (ALP) is required as part of the scholarship fulfillment. Any major changes to the candidate's ALP project focus or goals must be communicated to ASHRM staff. If the candidate leaves the Fellowship program, they must notify ASHRM as soon as possible, and a determination will be made whether or not the funds may need to be returned to ASHRM.
Additional requirements:
- Candidates must be willing to have their Action Learning Project published in the ASHRM Journal as an article or monograph within six months of completing the fellowship or as an ASHRM Forum article within six months of Fellowship completion if the project is ongoing.
- Present their Action Learning Project at the ASHRM Annual Conference.
- Participate in post-fellowship ASHRM mentoring relationship.
To be considered for the ASHRM scholarship, indicate your interest on your application cover letter and briefly describe how your participation will advance efforts at your organization and provide new knowledge and tools for ASHRM members overall.
