Digital Divide Understanding the Use of IT for Health Care Among Parents at Kaiser Permanente

According to the Pew research center,  74 percent of all adults in the United States use the Internet, with 76 percent whites, 70 percent of African- Americans, but only 64 percent of Hispanics reported using the Internet in 2009. This case study examines the differences in use of information technology and access to IT among various socioeconomic and ethnic groups who are members of Kaiser Permanente.
