Becoming a Culturally Competent Organization, A Review of The Joint Commission Report on Hospitals, Language, and Culture: A Snapshot of the Nation

This case study looks at he Joint Commission's recommendation related to culturally and linguistically appropriate care. Through an interdisciplinary approach, Brigham and Women's Hospital's efforts were aimed at addressing the recommendations and infusing the Joint Commission's recommendations into its academic medical center.
