Develop Partnerships across Organization's to Provide Professional Development Workshops on Social Determinants of Health
Beginning in August 2007, the Arizona Department of Health Services' Health Disparities Center organized monthly workshops focusing on minority/refugee/immigrant/LGBT health, health disparities and cultural competency. The purpose of the workshops was to increase ADHS employee awareness regarding diverse cultures as well as health beliefs and practices.
