Dr. P. Phillips Hospital - Using Peer-to-Peer Learning

Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, a 237-bed facility in Orlando, Florida, used best practices and peer-to-peer learning to reduce harm across the board. By focusing on interdisciplinary team approaches, the hospital has prevented a total of 624 harm events. Significant results were achieved by minimizing catheter-associated urinary tract infections, ventilator-associated pneumonia, and falls with injury. Dr. P. Phillips Hospital was part of the AHA/HRET Hospital Engagement Network
