Health Care Innovators Across the Country

State and regional hospital associations across the United States are recognizing hospitals and health systems for delivering high-quality and innovative care to patients. In November 2015, the Massachusetts Hospital Association presented its inaugural Accountable Care Compass Awards, to recognize providers that exhibit excellence and innovation in delivering high-quality, safe and efficient health care. HPOE.org has case studies about the award winner and finalists in six categories: reducing hospital-acquired conditions and readmissions; improving organizational efficiencies; enhancing culture and leadership; providing care to special populations; improvements across the continuum of care; and physician practice innovations. HPOE.org also features case studies from the Illinois Health and Hospital Association Quality Excellence Achievement Awards and from the Healthcare Association of New York State Triple Aim series.
