System Patient Flow Team Reduction in "Left Before Medical Screening Exam" in Emergency Departments

Improving patient flow throughout the Bon Secours Charity Health System is critical to patient safety, employee and patient satisfaction, and financial well being. Bon Secours is committed to clinical transformation and improving clinical and financial measures in performance improvement projects. Bon Secours' System Wide Flow Committee has been working on processes to improve many flow indicators including decreasing the percentage of patients who are triaged in the emergency departments but leave before a medical screening exam is performed.
