Multidisciplinary Cross-Cultural Communication Workshop
Interest in cross-cultural communication in health care has increased in recent years as providers strive to close the gap in health care between people of different sociocultural backgrounds. In 2007, a 4-hour cross-cultural communication workshop was developed and implemented as part of a required 1-day program to enhance skills in communication to new faculty at the institution .
