Today we need leaders who can help address the challenges and maximize the tremendous opportunities for transformation and innovation in the U.S. health care system. AHA's intensive interactive Health Care Transformation Fellowship provides senior health care leaders with the implementation skills to help their organizations execute care delivery, value and payment system transformation. The program’s main areas of concentration are clinical integration focused on physician engagement, navigating financial risk in the shift toward value-based purchasing, and population/community health management and partnerships. Through a combination of in-person learning retreats and webinars, fellows leave the program with the tools necessary to implement these new care delivery and payment models. Designed for C-level executives and vice presidents of finance, operations, strategy or physician relations/medical leadership, the fellowship also provides an opportunity for participants to network with current and former fellows and with faculty from organizations that have implemented innovative care delivery models.
