The answer is HPOE.org. The question: Where do hospital and care system leaders find resources and tools to improve patient safety, quality, clinical integration, population health, and much more? The Hospitals in Pursuit of Excellence website has one section devoted to the second curve of health care with a road map, metrics and AHA reports that outline must-do strategies and organizational competencies. HPOE.org also currently features a report with case examples from seven hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers that participated in the Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare’s wrong-site surgery project. These health care organizations examined their perioperative processes and developed targeted solutions that significantly reduced the number of surgical cases with risks for wrong-site surgery.
