An Opportunity to Advance Transformation

Learning, sharing resources and discussing projects on cutting-edge topics in health care transformation: That’s the opportunity for a select group of leaders who participate in the AHA Health Care Transformation Fellowship. During the nine-month program, fellows meet for three two-day interactive learning retreats—and may invite up to three colleagues to each retreat. The first retreat convenes at the Health Forum-AHA Leadership Summit, which will be held in San Francisco this July. Retreat topics focus on innovative approaches in care delivery, finance and population health. Between the in-person retreats, fellows connect through webinars and conference calls with expert faculty. All fellows design and implement an action learning project that addresses transformational needs at their own organization. Past projects have focused on clinical integration, payment reform and population health. Best of all, leaders expand their professional and personal networks as they share experiences and resources in a unique learning atmosphere.

Applications for the 2015–2016 fellowship class will be accepted until June 1. Visit the AHA Health Care Transformation Fellowship web page  for more information, including video and podcast interviews with past fellows.
