Celebrating Community Health

May 31 - June 6, 2015, is Community Health Improvement Week. The Association for Community Health Improvement established this week to raise awareness and increase understanding of how community health strategies complement, though they remain distinct from, individual medical care. Visit the ACHI website for a video welcome message from me. On Wednesday, June 3, ACHI is sponsoring a free webinar, ReThinking Population Health Strategies. Each day during Community Health Improvement week, the ACHI website will highlight a new case study. Take time this week to celebrate the work of community health professionals in your hospital or health care system. If you send ACHI a brief note and photo describing what your hospital is doing to celebrate the week, it will be included in the next ACHI newsletter.
