The Hospitals in Pursuit of Excellence website highlights quality improvement stories at hundreds of hospitals and health care systems across the country. These stories describe the results, challenges and lessons learned from successful initiatives to improve operational excellence; population/community health; patient safety and quality; equity of care/diversity; and care delivery. HPOE.org is designed as a resource repository for hospitals and health care leaders looking for case studies and also toolkits, guides and webinars about performance improvement and health care delivery transformation. Currently HPOE.org features case studies from recipients of annual quality awards from the AHA and from state hospital associations such as the Illinois Hospital Association and the Healthcare Association of New York State.
