Resources and Education for Transforming Health Care

At hospitals and health care systems across the country, executives, clinicians and staff are leading initiatives to achieve the Triple Aim: improving the patient experience of care (including quality and satisfaction), improving the health of populations and reducing the per capita cost of health care. The Hospitals in Pursuit of Excellence website  is designed to give health care leaders easy access to case studies, guides, toolkits, webinars and other resources for performance improvement and health care delivery transformation. In addition, the AHA Health Care Transformation Fellowship kicks off in January 2017. Applications are due December 1 for this nine-month program that provides health care leaders with information, skills and networking opportunities as they work to implement innovative health care delivery and payment system models.
