More American women are breastfeeding now than in previous years, however, rates of exclusive breastfeeding remain disappointing. The AHA's section for maternal and child health and the National Institute for Children's Health Quality (NICHQ) joint webinar presented information and resources on the baby friendly hospital initiative that helps hospitals improve their maternity practices to support mothers who choose to breastfeed.
